Eastern Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) provides assistance to businesses of all sizes, across nearly every industry, doing business with the government.
The Eastern Washington service area covers 12 counties: Adams, Asotin, Douglas, Ferry, Garfield, Grant, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Stevens, Spokane, and Whitman. The federal government is the largest purchaser of goods and services in the United States; Eastern Washington’s Prime Contractors reported 978 government contracts in 2015 totaling $39,030,644.
There is no charge for assistance, which includes classes, interpretation, government registration and certifications, and marketing.
Eastern Washington PTAC is one of eight sub-centers of Washington PTAC. Statewide, PTAC had a record year in 2015 with businesses winning 3,200 government contracts totaling over $592 million.
