Bay Area Tech Company Expands in Spokane
SmartRecruiters Inc., a software provider of recruiting solutions, has announced the opening of a new office in downtown Spokane. Based in San Francisco, the company’s expansion will support its rapidly growing business.
Why Spokane?
“Spokane offers SmartRecruiters all of the right ingredients to build out a great software sales operation – great talent, universities and affordability,” says Bob Memmer, Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales at SmartRecruiters.
Bob has a connection to the Spokane region. He previously managed Jigsaw, a CRM provider, prior to their sale to salesforce.com, and travels between Coeur d’Alene and the Bay area office of SmartRecruiters.
SmartRecruiters reached out to GSI for community demographics, workforce information and available office space. The company is excited about their new space which features a contemporary glass and exposed brick office in the beautiful, historic Legion Building.
Regional Impact
The company plans to open with 8 employees and double that number in the next year. The regional economic impact is $2.4 million.
