Selkirk Pharma, a Contract Manufacturing Organization in Spokane, has started the expansion of its 145,000-square-foot facility. The biotech company currently has 25 employees and plans to increase to 300 by the time the plant is fully operational. They expect to be up and running by Q2 2022. The startup raised $9 million in angel funding right at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. An additional $60 million is expected to be invested into the facility in the next three to five years.
