Sleep Inn and Mainstay Suites Expansion in Spokane Market
Sleep Inn and Mainstay Suites has announced a new, dual branded hotel to be built in Spokane off I-90, near Spokane International Airport.
A representative for Wisconsin-based Lighthouse Hospitality Group met with GSI staff while conducting the feasibility study. GSI provided a community overview, business information and demographic reports from the region’s site selection tool, selectspokane.com.
The dual branded hotel expansion will include both rooms and suites. Sleep Inn is a stylish, midscale hotel with amenities such as a hot breakfast buffet. MainStay Suites offers a more residential atmosphere for extended stays of a week, month or longer.
The additional hotel rooms near the airport are welcome as Spokane’s total passenger count increased 3.2% this past year, following two previous years of increases.
In addition, American Airlines just announced new nonstop service to Dallas Fort Worth effective July 5. American also operates nonstop between Spokane and Phoenix.
United Airlines recently announced new direct flights from Spokane to San Francisco and Chicago, raising the number of non-stop destinations. See destinations map.
