Southwest Airlines will be offering seasonal nonstop service from Spokane International Airport to Chicago Midway International Airport and John Wayne Orange County Airport starting June 6th and continuing through September 6th. Additionally, on June 6th the airline will resume daily nonstop service to Mineta San Jose International Airport. This new service offers Spokane/Coeur d’Alene Region business and leisure travelers easier access to important business centers as well as popular tourist destinations in Chicago, Southern California and Silicon Valley. Additionally, San Jose has connection opportunities to several cities in Southern California, and Chicago provides convenient connections to major cities in the Eastern and Northeastern United States. Chicago Midway is the 19th nonstop destination offered from Spokane International Airport, and with Orange County and San Jose Southwest Airlines now services eight nonstop destinations from Spokane, joining Denver, Las Vegas, Oakland, Phoenix and Sacramento.
