The City of Spokane Valley has received $33 million for its Pines Road/BNSF Grade Separation Project to replace the existing at-grade BNSF crossing on Pines Road with an underpass and redesign the adjacent signalized Pines/Trent intersection with a roundabout. Improvements include improved access to I-90, eliminating risk of collisions, adding sidewalks and shared-use paths, and much more.
