The City of Spokane Valley has received $33 million for its Pines Road/BNSF Grade Separation Project to replace the existing at-grade BNSF crossing on Pines Road with an underpass and redesign the adjacent signalized Pines/Trent intersection.
Concrete walls are being installed at a massive 218,400-square-foot industrial warehouse at 10921 W. McFarlane Road on the West Plains. The new warehouse, called McFarlane II, is expected to be completed this fall.

Amazon is constructing a 1.3 million-square-foot fulfillment center just west of Barker Road in Spokane Valley's northeast industrial area. The facility is expected to be completed in late 2021 and employ approximately 1,000 workers.
